Madrid preserves one of the most important historical helmets among European cities. The ancient architecture blends harmoniously with the most modern and comfort infrastructures. Other sites of interest in the city are Plaza de Castilla and its whole skyscraper, the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium home of Real Madrid, the train station of Atocha, the Egyptian temple of Debod, the park Madrid Rio next to the Manzanares river, the park El Retiro in the heart of the city, El Rastro de Madrid (flea market) and the famous Puerta de Alcalá.
